I have a great level of passion for the work I do.  I consider it an honor to be a part of someone's life story.  I value the therapeutic healing process in embracing our true authentic self.

One of my favorite parts of the therapeutic process is witnessing how people transcend — evolving beyond who they once believed they were into something they could have never imagined. That kind of transformation requires an incredible amount of faith, trust, and courage. Faith in what we cannot yet see. Trust in the process. Courage to keep moving forward even when life feels uncertain.

I know this journey personally.

For more than 10 years in private practice, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals as they navigate the pressures and complexities of life. I understand the busyness, the expectations, the anxiety, and the emotional weight that can come with managing careers, raising children, supporting families, leading teams, balancing relationships, and trying to care for ourselves in the middle of it all. I am not separate from the human experience — I am living it too.

I bring that humanity into my work.

I consider it an honor to be part of someone’s life story. My goal is to create a safe, trusted, and nonjudgmental space where you feel respected, heard, and supported. I believe healing begins when we feel safe enough to truly be ourselves. Too often, life experiences, family systems, cultural expectations, or past pain disconnect us from who we were meant to be. We become stuck in patterns, overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain of our own identity and direction.

But I believe growth is always possible.

My therapeutic approach is individualized and relational. I work with adults, teenagers, children, families, athletes and teams by meeting each person where they are. I value both long-term therapy, where we gently uncover and understand the deeper layers of who we are, and short-term therapy or team workshops, where creating security in the culture and immediate stabilization may be needed during difficult life transitions.

I often allow clients to guide the pace and direction of sessions while I listen carefully, reflect, ask questions, and help create insight and awareness. I am passionate about helping people understand not only their symptoms, but also the deeper impacts and experiences connected to them. While I deeply respect the role of diagnosis and pharmacology within mental health treatment, my primary focus is not labeling people — it is understanding them.

As both a therapist and a person, I value perseverance, resilience, curiosity, creativity, and grace. Much of that perspective has been shaped through lifelong experiences in sports, leadership, family life, and personal growth. I believe we all have the ability to learn, adapt, heal, and make empowered choices even in difficult seasons.

This work can be tough and gritty, but it is also transformative. Through our struggles, we grow. Through awareness, we gain freedom. Through courage, we begin to rediscover ourselves.

As you consider reaching out for support, know that choosing a therapist is a deeply personal decision. I offer a free 20–30 minute phone consultation so you can decide whether my approach feels like the right fit for you.

As you make that first phone call, send that first email, or request that initial consultation, know this: I am human too, and we will walk this path side by side.
